However, we are also keen to offer a development opportunity to an individual with demonstrable related experience and the required skills. Above all, we are looking for acandidate that is proactive, enterprising and personable in approaching individuals and understanding their philanthropic aims, and able to engage, manage and influence internal stakeholders.You will have: Excellent communication and relationship-buildingskills, with a confident approach to donor management Confidence using your initiative and collaboration skills, with the ability to proactively identify new opportunities Exceptional supporter relationship stewardship Experience in soliciting large donations(five-figure+) from high-net-worth individuals, or of working with high-net-worth clients in a private sector role.About the role and the team This is a key role in making Shelters strategic priorities a reality. You will be raising money for our core work- supporting people in communities threatened with losing their homes, as well as our campaigning to transform housing policy to get to the root of the problem.This role is responsible for supporting the team to maintain relationships with a range of high-net-worthsupporters and developing key connections with new major givers. The role plays a vital part in in ensuring donors are supported, successfully building and managing a range of valuable relationships.You will be supported by an experienced, energetic Fundraisingteam and Senior Managers in front line services, Campaigns and Finance. The Philanthropy team develop relationships with high level individual donors and are responsible for securing major donations with a focus on five, six and seven figure gifts. We haveambitious plans to significantly grow income to over £3 million a year and we are looking for a dedicated Philanthropy Manager to play a pivotal role in our success.How to applyPlease submit your application via our online system, CoreHR.
