Are you a talented fundraiser who has a proven track record of major donor fundraising, with either a desire to work with major gift fundraising, planned giving or Legacies. Charity People are working with a leading not-for-profit organisationwhose mission is to advance chemical sciences to find a Philanthropy LeadSalary: £38,456 - 42,729Benefits: 26 days paid holiday per annum, 35-hour working week with flexible options, Enhanced maternity and paternity leave, Paid volunteering days, Pension plan with up to 12% employer contributions , Life assurance at four timesbasic annual salaryLocation: Mostly remote, ideally 2 days per week in their Cambridge or London office but open to more flexible working requestsWe are looking for an experienced Relationship fundraiser to join a small team of specialists who will play a central role in implementing the planned giving strategy over the next 5 years, both in the UK and internationally.You will have a proven track record of fundraising from either major gifts or legacies, or previous experience in forming strategic partnerships with major donors. Significant knowledge of the processes of prospect cultivation, engagement, solicitation andstewardship of resultant partnerships is key.Equally important as your ability to engage external supporters, will be your skill in building internal networks and the capability to communicate both the purpose and importance of the work that is done, and the impact the chemical sciences have on allof our livesDeadline: 9am on Friday 21st JulyOnly because this role has been previously advertised, we may close early if we have enough strong applications.
