Some Home-Starts provide specific programmes and interventions while others are delivering a supportive ear and signposting to local statutory services. There is a community of learning developing and an opportunity to build on the existing practice to ensure a consistent and skilled offer across the whole Home-Start network in supporting perinatal and infant mental health. Raising awareness, upskilling the Home-Start workforce and ensuring consistent and evidence-led communication on these important topics will ensure that families can be supported well as part of a wider system of care. This role would build on the first PIMH role we have in place in Scotland, ensuring that there is a development lead across England, Wales and NI, and a consistent approach across all four nations from a practice perspective. This would strengthen the communication exchange between local Home-Starts and the HSUK team, including in policy, campaigning and communications work, allowing us to gather more data and intelligence, offer better tailored support, disseminate learning more effectively and better understand the opportunities and barriers to supporting perinatal and infant mental health to families across the UK through a volunteer model. You will be someone who already has experience of leading work in the field of perinatal and/or infant mental health either in the third sector or in statutory services. You will be familiar with the current landscape of development in these fields across the voluntary sector and understand how it works with and alongside statutory services.Closing date for applications: Sunday 27 June 2021 at 5pm Shortlisting will take place w/c 28th June Interviews will be held remotely on w/c 12th July 2021To Apply and for More Information:If you would like to apply, please click the visit website button to be directed to our website, where you can complete your application for this position.Home-Start is committed to Equality of Opportunity and Diversity.
