Job Description

This role will execute customer acquisition campaigns within paid channels for international owned digital properties. The successful candidate oversees always-on paid channels, like Paid Search SEM, Display Retargeting, Cart Abandonment, etc. to deliver to commercial goals.Client DetailsMy client based in central London is the leading global consumer robot company. They design and build consumer tech that empower people to do more both inside and outside of the home.They are currently seeking an Optimisation Specialist to join their Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce Performance Marketing team in Central London. This role will execute customer acquisition campaigns within paid channels for international owned digital properties. The successful candidate oversees always-on paid channels, like Paid Search SEM, Display Re targeting, Cart Abandonment, etc. to deliver to commercial goals. This includes day-to-day placement strategies, creative selection, audience bidding, landing pages - all with frequent A/B test and learn scenarios. This position requires a curious and dynamic individual with the ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment.Description

  • Manage external agency resource to deliver EMEA sales and performance marketing objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate full end-to-end paid display and performance advertising, with a clear focus on performance-based, sales-driving reach and re targeting activities e.g. via programmatic platforms.
  • Develop sophisticated campaign and audience targeting strategies combined with setting KPIs & establishing country level benchmarks & targets.
  • Continuously monitor performance, deliver consolidated reporting, identify and analyse deviating patterns to generate insights for future optimisation.
  • Deliver channel innovation, continuous test and learn, utilising latest functionality and betas from media platforms.
  • Constantly improve display and programmatic technology stack; connect to Client CRM, DMP and other data pools, ensure robust tracking.
  • Work closely with regional and global cross-functional departments to aid the governance of a stable digital commerce infrastructure.
  • Profile
  • Detailed understanding of performance advertising including paid search, paid display and programmatic advertising developed through hands-on experience of managing campaigns through programmatic platforms (DSPs)
  • Previous hands-on responsibility for performance media advertising buying and optimization, at a media agency or high growth DTC ecommerce brand.
  • Management of budgets > £1m for multiple markets
  • Proven track-record of driving projects and creating impact through pragmatic problem-solving.
  • Excellent understanding of biddable media and programmatic display technology (e.g., DSPs, DMPs)
  • Able to work in a matrixed organisation and to successfully grow e-commerce.
  • Analytical and curious with high competency in Google Analytics and reporting tools
  • Exceptional communications skills with proven ability to influence and foster strong relationships across enterprise including IT, Marketing, Finance, members of Leadership and others.
  • Highly organised and proven project management skills.
  • Multi-tasking, ability to prioritise and manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Preferred exposure to multichannel attribution and media mix modelling approaches, methods, challenges and output; experience developing multichannel attribution models preferred.
