Job Description

REMOTE/HOMEBASEDJOB ROLE

  • This role is located within context of an organisational structure which has been developed to ensure high quality of teaching, and excellent learning experience and a focus on workforce development. All areas of the business will be target driven ensuring the fulfilment of all our regulators (Awarding Body, ESFA, Ofsted and other funders), commercial and Workforce Development targets as directed by the Senior Management Team.
  • To manage the achievement of budgetary targets through ensuring the Supply Chain achieve contractual profile, on programme targets and required timely completion rates. To monitor and manage the contractual compliance of Supply Chain. To support the achievement of sustained Ofsted Grade 2 performance levels within the Supply Chain through the continuous improvement, effective deployment of quality policies, processes and systems which reflect best practice.
  • RESPONSIBILITES
  • To be responsible for the efficient and timely mobilisation of the contract including engagement of supply chain partners and engagement with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the project is established successfully.
  • To deliver the project ensuring all outputs and results are met, monthly as well as over its lifetime, within budget and according to the project specification.
  • To work with existing local providers of related services and engage those most in need in the local area
  • To deliver appropriate reporting and analysis of key performance indicators in regard to the project outcomes in compliance with the funding body contract, financial and administrative regulations, and our internal reporting mechanisms
  • To develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholder, clients and their representatives, highlighting successes and value-added, and unblocking any delivery issues as they arise through liaison with internal teams
  • To explore opportunities to enhance the project account through the provision of complementary or additional service
  • To ensure effective communication with all stakeholders informing them of delivery status and any developments that may affect contract delivery
  • To effectively liaise with internal quality coordinators to ensure quality monitoring, reporting and improvement plans are in place for all sub-contractors to meet company quality standards. In particular, champion the Merlin standard with the Partnerships division
  • To ensure that queries raised are dealt with in accordance to company procedures.
  • Ensuring 100% contractual compliance across the business for each claimable event per contract
  • To lead and manage direct reports using the Balance Score Card model and the company’s performance appraisal process and learning and development strategy
  • Actively championing the culture & values of our company through use of appropriate language & behaviour, acting as a mentor to staff across the business
  • REQUIREMENTS
  • A proven track record of managing complex, large scale projects within government ESF funded programmes, with the ability to lead the project dynamically to meet early achievements
  • Significant experience of supply chain and stakeholder relationship management
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a project management or related business discipline
  • Commercial awareness and strong business analysis skills
  • Ability to drive actions and behaviours to support strong performance throughout the project
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience - able to build and maintain relationships at all levels within an organisation through strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Credible knowledge of challenges facing the target client groups within the project
  • Understanding and sensitivity to the strategic business interests of key partners and stakeholders, particularly the public sector.
