Prospectus is pleased to be partnering a charity supporting professional development and standards in Further Education (FE) and Training. Their goal is to grow the strength and capability of the Further education profession; enhance its leadership capacity;inform its decision-makers with expert input; and develop FE professionals to excel in their roles and develop their careers. They are now recruiting for an experienced Performance manager to join their team and to help achieve high performance levels andmeet grant and contract expectations. This position is offer as a 6month fixed term contract.As a Performance Manager you will be responsible for all delivery on grants/contracts, supporting staff and developing key contractual relationships. You will work closely with colleagues in the Expert Heads team to ensure that policy intent is understoodand well managed in delivery and also keep the team informed about any relevant performance, quality, finance or risk issues. You will be responsible for managing subcontractors across multiple contracts/grant work as well as driving performance improvementsand managing delivery in line with commissioners expectations. You will engage with the Quality team to make sure that delivery meets quality expectations and be required to prepare for and meet with the commissioner to review performance as necessary. Youwill also work closely with the Regional and Design & Delivery teams to ensure that there is a strong tie between the Performance Management team, the regional team and the Design & Development team.To apply for this role, you will have experience of managing and driving performance improvement in grant or contract activity through subcontractors/partners, as well as having knowledge of performance and/or contract management frameworks. You will beable to demonstrate the ability of handling multiple priorities and projects on time, on budget and ensure delivery is of the highest quality, whilst working with a wide range of external stakeholders to meet programmes delivery expectations.
