Role Overview:To assist in the administration of and deliver specific projects relating to the management of the firms contracted-out defined benefit pension scheme.Additional Duties:To assist in the administration of all other staff benefit schemes managed by NFO as time permits.Details of Main DutiesProjects relating to all aspects of the Scheme - data, calculations, scheme rules etc.Working with software developers to provide specifications and test and deliver fully functioning administration system Administration work when requiredDelivery of work to agreed service levels and absolute accuracyManagement and audit of schemes records and databasesDevelopment of recordkeeping as dictated by legislation and business needsCo-ordination of the schemes advisors and service providersAuditing and amending schemes rulesProvision of data to advisors as requiredPreparation of reports to the Trustee and advisors as needed Details of Current Main SchemesGroup Personal Pension PlanGroup Life assurance PlansWorkplace Savings PlanShare Incentive PlanCritical Illness SchemeGIP SchemesPMI SchemesMinimum QualificationsPersonal Specification:Qualifications:PMI or part PMI desirableExperience:At least ten years experience in the administration of pension schemes and managing databases. Experience of writing and interpreting scheme rules.Ability to perform and audit benefit calculations manually.Project management skillsSkills:Professional, well-organised, able to work on their own, efficient, used to meeting deadlines, technically proficient and dedicated to accuracy.
