Job Description

We are currently looking for a Payroll Process Analyst with experience in Payroll Lifecycle processes to join the EMEA People Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building new optimised processes based upon the To Be process design. The key focus areas will be standardisation of process & documentation procedures & collateral, change impact analysis as well as defining key requirements to optimise & automate the processes.Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end to end process review of the Payroll services across the region.
  • Review existing payroll and associated HR administration processes to identify opportunities to standardise, simplify and optimise
  • Responsible for producing a suite of process documentation, including but not limited to Process Flows, Business Process Design, Standard Operating Procedures, FAQs, Quick Reference Guides
  • Draft the "To Be" collateral for processes
  • Conduct detailed Business Change Impacts exercise mapping the key change impacts for the different user groups (Payroll CBRE and External suppliers, HR, HR Centres of Excellence/Operations, Finance, Treasury, Technology, Business, Employees, and Managers)
  • Conduct a Fit-Gap exercise whereby documenting exceptions, variations, and gaps in the process. Build a plan to resolve issues & gaps from "As Is" to "To Be" process
  • Working with HR to determine key business requirements for technology optimisation, focused on the Core HCM platform. Partner with the People Operations team on delivering the system change.
  • Support payroll service transitions and new deployments
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing for system and service deployments, document and resolve test defects with the technical team
  • Provide training on future processes as required, developing Training manuals as required
  • Provide status reporting on actions and deliverables within the Process Workstream, highlighting any risks, issues or blockers
  • Partner with Data and Controls Analysts to identify opportunities to standardise and optimise.
  • Person Specification/Requirements
  • Must have experience in process mapping and process documentation in a Payroll environment
  • Excellent working experience in Microsoft Visio
  • Experience of working in or with Payroll
  • Projects based experience with HR teams
  • Strong experience on Payroll Systems ideally across a number of different European countries
  • Knowledge of Payroll outputs required for Finance and Treasury.
  • Identifies and communicates opportunities to improve the way that work is done
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Team working skills: working closely within a small People team; must be comfortable with following a common and set approach, plan, tools and templates
  • Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Proactive approach with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Can work systematically and use own initiative
  • Track record of delivering high-quality change initiatives and associated collateral.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced project environment
