Job Description

Job title Payroll & Personal Data SpecialistHours: 35 hoursWorking pattern: HybridLocation: Kennington Tube stationContract type: 2 weeks temporary to start end of November.Hourly rate: £20-25ph DOE+ holidayAre you available at short notice Do you have strong numerical skills and the ability to work with complex payroll calculations And experience of Cascade (HRIS)This pioneering National charity are seeking a Payroll and Personnel Data Specialist to focus on a standalone project for a period of around 2 weeks to input personnel data into Cascade and Excel.In your role as Payroll and Personnel data specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up new staff profiles, including those with complex working patterns (e.g., three-week work patterns).
  • Processing a backlog of new starters, leavers, and personnel changes.
  • Utilizing strong numerical skills to calculate percentages of working hours and other relevant metrics.
  • Identifying and rectifying any errors on payroll paperwork.
The skills you will bring to the role of Payroll and Personnel data will include:
  • Confident user of Cascade and Excel with the ability to navigate and utilize features efficiently.
  • Strong numerical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages and work with complex working patterns.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate input and identification of errors.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment without the need for extensive training.
