Job Description

Payroll Officer Agency Reference Number: 7061810 A position has arisen for a Payroll and Finance Officer to work in a medium sized Charity.Rate: £28,000-£30,000 per annum Length: PermanentJob responsibilities include:

  • To maintain the HR/Payroll database in an accurate and timely manner – producing HR/payroll reports as required
  • To process and update changes to employee records
  • To collect and record monthly sickness returns received from services across the UK
  • Validate and process staff vehicle documentation for mileage purposes
  • Manage the payroll team mailboxes – organising, handling, and responding to emails as appropriate
  • To maintain payroll archives
  • Support the monthly payroll audit processes
  • To manage banking returns received from services across the UK, compliance checking and reconciliation checks
  • To update the billing system accordingly
  • To download and reconcile All-Pay transactions and post to relevant documents
