An exciting opportunity has arisen at Kenny Wax for a production Payroll Manager. Working as part of the Finance team 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday), the individual will be responsible for the weekly preparation of all live show production payrolls.Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role requires a high degree of accuracy and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous theatre experience is desirable.Kenny Wax Productions is firmly established as one of the UKs leadingproducers of West End and touring theatre. Current productions include the West End and UK Tour of smash-hit SIX The Musical; Mischief Theatres The Play That Goes Wrong (West End & UK Tour), Groan Ups (UK Tour), Magic Goes Wrong (West End & UK Tour); newmusical Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World (UK Tour) and What the Ladybird Heard. Projects in development include new musical Identical (based on Erich Kastners The Parent Trap) directed by Trevor Nunn.This is a wonderful opportunity for someonelooking to work in a vibrant, ever-growing company with a group of dedicated, supportive and creative colleagues.Kenny Wax Limited is committed to Equal Opportunities and welcomes applications from a variety of backgrounds and all sections of the community.KEYRESPONSIBILITIES Set up new production payrolls as required Carry out weekly production payrolls in an accurate and timely manner Calculate and deduct applicable tax and NI payments Process payroll deductions/adjustments/holiday pay as required Manage pensioncontributions across all productions Generate and distribution appropriate payroll paperwork Ensure RTI reports are filed and PAYE payments made to HMRC in timely fashion Review payroll policies and amend procedures where required Maintain accurate accountbalances and conduct monthly payroll reconciliations Resolve issues raised by employees or agents re. payslips and other payroll matters Amend held records when necessary to process payments accuratelyEssential Proven ability to work across multiple payrollsat the same time Excellent and up to date understanding of tax, payroll laws and statutory pay Comprehensive knowledge of pension schemes Advanced working knowledge of Sage Payroll Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
