Job Description

    • A Payroll Clerk is required to work for a fast growth, Consumer business, based in West London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and sociable environment, for a business that has continued to grow in the past 12 months, predominantly through acquisition.Reporting to the Head of Payroll, you will be an integral part of the finance team of 3, supporting with a wide variety of payroll duties. The business is looking for someone which is proactive who alongside their business-as-usual tasks, will help drive efficiencies in the payroll department.Responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting with the processing of 2 monthly payrolls for 1500+ employees
  • Processing starters and leavers as well as issuing P45’s
  • Calculating SSP/SMP student loans
  • Managing the processing of sickness and holiday pay
  • Managing NEST pension contributions
  • Reconciling payroll on a monthly basis
  • Continuously looking at ways to improve the payroll process
    • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years payroll experience and will have a good understanding of the statutory payroll regulations. It is essential that you have strong Excel skills and are comfortable with Excel formulas. You will be confident in nature, with the ability to communicate clearly with employees and senior stakeholders.
