Meraki Talent have been engaged to assist with the onboarding of a Senior Payroll Assistant for their Chartered Accountancy client in Fife The Company Our client has a rich history within the Scottish Accountancy market. An independent Accountancy firmin existence for over 100 years, they have been a mainstay throughout many turbulent and changing times. They specialise within the fields of Audit, Business Advisory, Corporate Finance & Services and Payroll. They now seek to add to their busy Payroll teamwith a Senior Payroll Assistant. The Role The role of Senior Payroll Assistant has become available as the business goes through a sustained period of growth across several of its service channels, making this an exciting time to join a leading practice. Asa Senior Payroll Assistant, you will report directly to the Payroll Manager. You will be fully responsible for your own client portfolio, managing both client and management expectations whilst working to tight deadlines. You will liaise with clients and setexpectations and deliver against your promises to your portfolio. This role would suit an individual from a busy Payroll Bureau service/Practice background due to the high volume of work and ever-changing landscape. Duties and Responsibilities Processing ofend-to-end payroll - weekly, biweekly, and monthly Ensuring RTI and auto-enrolment regulations & requirements are adhered to Assisting with opting employees into the company pension scheme Dealing with questions, queries, and requests in relation to payrollEnsuring adherence to processes, procedures & controls Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders Adhoc duties where and when required As a Senior Payroll Assistant, you will be a client focused individual who can work effectively as partof a team as well as possessing the ability to use your own initiative when required, you will have strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. A confident and enthusiastic approach to your work where quality outweighs quantity. ExperienceFor the role of Senior Payroll Assistant, the below criteria are Essential.
