Payment Network Compliance Specialist - NCOP About the role / the team: This role is within the Network Compliance, Operations and Policy (NCOP) team within FIS Worldpays Operations Department. The NCOP team manages the relationship between Visa, Mastercard, and other payment schemes, in connection with rules, operational updatesto systems and communications, policy, and scheme compliance. The payment network compliance specialist will be managing the schemes rules and operational relationship and activities with FIS Worldpays Tier 1 customers, here with special focus on updating these customers with network rules and resolving their paymentnetwork rule issues, with a particular focus with VISA, Mastercard and other card schemes. The role also supports the boarding of new customers where there is a payment network compliance consideration, and management of new mandates and projects associatedwith. Review, evaluate, communicate rules, regulations, and technical requirements across payment all networks. Ability to read and digest in-depth card scheme rules and regulations and ensure all appropriate systems are compliant, must be a strategic thinker. What you will be doing / Key Responsibilities: Prime focus on Tier 1 Merchant Support:

  • Establish a group of Worldpay FIS Tier 1 customers who you will be their link into the payment networks - primary focus the UK and Europe
  • Communicating/presenting to RMs and direct to customers
  • Support in the READY RED merchant boarding process
  • Supporting customers as to their scheme needs - advocacy, lobbying, waivers and other considerations directed from schemes requirements and rules
  • Presenting network rules to key stakeholders
  • Evaluating scheme rules and lobbying where appropriate, preparing waivers and their management
  • Leading on compliance issues where it relates to the tier 1 customers
Other Responsibilities
  • Management of technical release articles which includes writing technical requirements, implementation validation and status tracking for various payment networks and regions.
  • Reviews and evaluates all payment network changes that impact FIS and its clients for various processing regions
  • Communicates summarization of changes, detailed requirements and business implications to technology and stakeholders.
  • Provides reviews of new business cases and provides direction for new and expanding products and services.
  • Responds to issues and matters pertaining to payment network rules and technical requirements of the payment networks.
  • Maintains knowledge of applicable payment network rules and transaction processing framework for various payment networks in various processing regions.
  • Management of incoming payment announcements for payment network.
What you bring / Skills & Experience:
  • Business and Payments acumen is a must
  • Ability to understand end-to-end business processes and business knowledge related to operations, understand and apply learned concepts
  • Experience creating and executing technical changes in large-scale development efforts
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence across a cross functional operating model
  • Background in working in an ambiguous environment and identifying business issues/risks, and conflict resolution
  • Critical thinking, creative problem solver
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and complete work within tight time limitations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; should be comfortable speaking to levels of management and front-line colleagues and customers, provide information to a variety of audiences and deal effectively with issues that are sensitive in nature
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to work independently
  • Excellent relationship building skills
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of comprehensive knowledge of the payment network rules and transaction processing framework technical requirements
  • Bachelors or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Bachelors and/or Masters degree is preferable
  • Payment experience required
