* Pastry Chef* Central London* £33,000 - £36,000Job Role: Pastry ChefLocation: Central LondonSector: Contract CateringSalary: £33,000 - £36,000We are looking for a Pastry Chef to join this great Contract Catering site in Central London, This is a Monday to Friday role with core hours for Pastry Chef being 8am to 4.30pmBenefits include:* £33,000 - £36,000 starting salary* Great Working conditions* Monday to Friday only with mainly daytime hours* Chance to build a teamCurrently a lot of products are brought in so we are looking for a confident Pastry Chef to bring this more in house. You will cater for restaurant and events so should have a good all round knowledge pf pastry and desserts,The long term plan is for this role to be increased in responsibility and possibly develop a team to produce food for other sites close by in Central London so we need a confident and ambitious pastry chef who is looking for a long term role with bags of progressionopportunities.The team will be around 9/10 chefs and catering for small numbers up to events for 150 with multiple events and functions at the same time you will need strong organisational skills as well.You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs on site and on occasion when Pastry is quiet be asked to support main kitchen as required.If you are an experienced Pastry Chef looking for a new challenge then please do get in touch.
