We are currently looking to recruit a passionate and food driven Pastry Chef to join our clients team based in EC1 London.Working within a corporate environment, the catering department provides for both staff and hospitality. The food produced here is of the highest quality and ranges from working lunches to canaps and sit down formal dinners. All food is freshly prepared usingseasonal ingredients and presentation is essential.As the Pastry Chef, you will be predominately based in the hospitality and fine dining side of the business, however you will also be required to produce items for the staff dining (cakes and bakes). You will work closely with the Exec Chef and HospitalityHead Chef producing exceptional food using high quality, seasonal ingredients. You will need to be extremely food driven with an excellent eye for detail and presentation.Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekOur ideal candidate would - Currently be a strong Pastry Chef level with a proven career history - Have worked within corporate catering, fine dining restaurant, hotel or a similar environment- Have fine dining experience- Have exceptional pastry skills - Be able to demonstrate a successful progressive background in catering- Be able to lead, manage and develop a team ensuring a good working environment- Be passionate about food and ingredients as well as up to date with trends and concepts- Have an excellent eye for detail and presentation with flair and creativity- Have excellent communication and organizational skills- Be flexible and willing with a positive can do attitudeWith great opportunities for career progress, this is a fantastic position for a keen and motivated Pastry Chef to join a food driven company.
