Part-time Head of Accounts3 days weekly£28,000-32,000 pro-rataOur client is a well-established auction house in the West End that requires a part-time Accounts assistant to work with high value items. The role will involve the following;Profit and loss analysisVAT returns to HMRCPayment of salariesBook to Bill paymentsReconciliation of balance sheetsDaily entering of all customer cheques, BACS receipts and other bank receipts into cashbooksEntering remittances onto Banking cheques and other receipts as required Resolving UK and Export customer account queries relating to payment issues or outstanding invoices Performing Credit Control on customer accounts over 30 days old in accordance with the companys Credit Control proceduresPayments to clients via cheque and BACSVAT paymentsProjecting cash flowsPayment of vendorsAt busy times, there should be flexibility around working days however there may be the opportunity, once the person has passed their probationary period, to work from home. You should be extremely confident on excel and you will ideally have worked with high value items. This accounts assistant should be part-qualified and have a stable work history. Required skills
