The role will be exclusively working from home initially and would be perfectly suited to someone with a passion for the arts who has Management Accounts and is looking for a part time role in London.The roleEnsuring all transactions are correctly coded across the arts FoundationProcessing multiple complex bank and investment transactions into the finance systemBalance sheet reconciliations - updating, understanding and ensuring accuracy across the balance sheetEntering purchase invoices, credit card transactions and expense claims into the finance system applying consistent and relevant approach to coding, ready for review and approvalAssisting the Head of Finance with specific reports for quarterly reporting for TrusteesPreparing the bi-monthly payment run for review and approval. Then raising the payments using the online banking platform. Ad hoc payments are also required from time to timeRegular cashbook reconciliations for the arts Foundations current accountAssisting the Head of Finance with the annual audit and US tax requestsAs and when required, the role will include support on financial reporting and ad hoc analysisThe Candidate At least 5 years of experience in a financial roleExperience in a charity finance or creative industry finance roledesirableUnderstanding and awareness of SORP in Charities and FRS 102 desirableIntermediate user of Microsoft Excel (formulas inc. vlookup, pivot tables).Proficient user of Microsoft Outlook and WordHighly presentable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).Can-do attitude, with a strong work ethic and ability to manage deadlines.This is a truly unique role for a part time Management Accountant to join a very reputable arts foundation in London.
