So if you are organised, show great attention to detail, methodical and approachable, then you are likely to be a great fit!As this role has a strong focus on Compliance of Company Policy, we are looking for someone that is able to take ownership and responsibility for the work that they do, enjoys supporting the team as well as being able to work autonomously and has a methodicalapproach to day to day work.Hours of work: 24hrs per week, 3 or 5 days will be considered, start and finish can be flexible and discussed at interview.What will I be doingAn Administrator within Jewson is an essential role within the branch network as you will be responsible for protecting the profitability of the branch through Compliance whilst maximising effectiveness and efficiency whilst ensuring high levels of CustomerService are maintained. In order to support the team and our customers you will;

  • Support the back office of the branch with all things administration
  • Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
  • Analyse Daily reports and take relevant action
  • Resolve or escalate Supplier and Customer queries,
  • Handling Sales and purchase ledger queries
  • Ensure business control compliance
  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
  • Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
  • Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
  • Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
