Job Description

Part-time Accounts AssistantPart-time Accounts Assistant for boutique high-end consulting organisation. Around 25 hours per week and can be flexible how they are split up - i.e., 3 or 4 days per week or over 5 days.This position will suit someone with excellent communication skills who is used to dealing with high end clients and enjoys building lasting relationships.Main duties include:Sales Ledger - new client onboarding, producing sales invoices and future sales scheduling. Reconciliations and banking. Preparing statements and chasing outstanding payments.Purchase Ledger - day to day book-keeping duties. Checking and coding invoices and posting on QuickBooks. Preparing VAT payments. Setting up BACS payment runs. Checking and reconciling supplier statements. Filing statements and invoices.Dealing with enquiries. Processing expenses. Handling credit cards, petty cash and posting on QuickBooks along with updating bank accounts on QuickBooks.The ideal candidate:

  • Looking for someone who wants to work part-time.
  • Previous relevant experience, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Fine eye for detail and a real number cruncher.
  • Able to work well to deadlines.
  • Excellent team player with positive outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to build long lasting relationships.
  • Gain an understanding of the business.
  • Flexible and proactive.
