Job Description

Due to this growth this global insurance business are recruiting for a part qualified accountant for their shared services division. This busy and broad role will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts in both UK and international GAAPs
  • Bank reconciliations alongside balance sheet recs and and analysis of differences due to different GAAP requirements
  • Expense accounting including expense allocations and recharges
  • Payroll accounting working the global HR teams on bonus accruals, as well as analysis of headcount data for budgetary purposes
  • Accounting for fixed assets across the group
  • Intercompany accounting and management
    • You will be a part qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) with experience of working within large, complex businesses (Ideally insurance or FS). You will have experience of working with international offices (European language experience would be beneficial)This is an organisation that has a strong track record in the development of staff and can offer ambitious and technical minded accountant an excellent working environment and career path.
