Job Description

As a Klarna paralegal, you will be part of a global and cross-functional team comprised of colleagues from other competences. The team is responsible for ensuring Klarna has the optimal legal entity structure. You will work across multiple jurisdictions andwork with both in-house and external lawyers. You should always first ask yourself, "Whats best for the company Couldnt we do it in another better way instead" Your expertise and your never ending desire to learn more will drive your professional development.You are in the driving seat! Key responsibilities include:

    • Ensure that the groups subsidiaries and branches are in good standing
    • Draft, review, and revise various subsidiary corporate documents, such as minutes and resolutions
    • Help integrate acquired entities and ensure their corporate documents meet Klarna standard
    • Assist in the incorporation and dissolution of companies
    • Execute on corporate changes and filings globally
    • Oversee and develop processes to ensure required corporate actions are executed on time
    • Manage contacts with outside counsel to address and resolve corporate legal issues
    • Review and improve the legal aspects of existing routines and processes
    • Monitor and advise on relevant legal and regulatory developments and trends, with a focus on corporate law
Qualifications:
    • Professional experience as a paralegal (+2 years) from a top-notch law firm, the financial sector, telecom, the IT industry, or any other regulated industry
    • Solid interest in corporate law
    • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
