Insanity Group is a rapidly growing media company operating in the music, broadcast, live and digital markets across the UK and USA. Insanity represent top tier digital, broadcast and music talent, and operate a record label in partnership with Sony Music. Due to Insanity’s expansion, our Group Business Affairs team is growing, and we are seeking an efficient, organised and enthusiastic Paralegal to join us on our journey. You will work closely with the rest of the team on a broad range of exciting matters across the whole business.We are looking for an exceptional team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team and the capacity to effectively work across various areas of our ever-expanding business.   • Advice to all departments on a variety of day-to-day legal issues.
  • Advice to all departments on commercial deal structures and negotiation techniques.
  • Assisting in company projects and corporate transactions.
  • Assisting with the drafting of agreements and documents.
  • Reviewing agreements and documents.
  • Drafting and negotiating basic agreements.
  • Developing precedents to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Working on ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Assisting in providing legal training to all areas of the business.
  • Document management including maintaining relevant template agreements and clauses.
  • Developing and implementing tools and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Assisting in employee on-boarding and off-boarding.

  • Qualifications
  • Minimum of: Law Degree; the GDL; the LPC; CILEX qualification; and/or a paralegal practice award, certificate, diploma or higher diploma.
  • The role is usually carried out during normal business hours from the company’s head office situated within Sony Music Entertainment’s offices close to High Street Kensington. On occasion, the job may require evening or weekend work, remote working or work-related travel for new business opportunities.The typical working day will be eight hours with an hour for lunch. Start time allows for flexibility within core business hours.
