A local government organisation based in West London is need in urgent need of a Pannel CoordinatorLocation: Remote WorkingDuration: 10 WeeksRate: £18 per hourEssential Requirement - Enhanced DBSEssense of the role:To be responsible for the co-ordination, minute taking and data collection of the Tri-borough Fostering Panel of which there are 2 a month and they are chaired by an Independent Chair, with panel members comprising of Children Services’ employees, independent members, councillors and medical advisors.To be responsible for ensuring the security of highly confidential records both in accordance with Children’s Services information governance procedures and as written in national legislation.Role Duties:Maintenance of a panel booking system.Notification to social workers of panel schedule and deadlines, arrangement of accommodation and refreshments for meetings with, and if practicable, a private waiting area for applicants and others attending the meeting.Preparation of agendas.Working with the Agency Adviser, liaison with social workers and managers as required, to ensure that the panel’s requirements are metTaking minutes: An adoption/fostering panel must make a written record of its proceedings, its recommendation and the reasons of its recommendation, noting in particular recommendations made and reasons given.To understand and actively promote the Council’s Customer Care Policy, ensuring the needs of our customers are considered at all times to enable the Council to meet its targets.Person Specification:Previous experience in working at in similar organisaiton will be advantageousGood understand of pannel meetingsExcellent Minute takerGood organisation and Attention to detailEssentials for the Role: You will be required to have a valid Enhanced DBS disclosure, we are also able to undertake one for a sucessfull candidate on thier behalfThis is a quick turn around role.
