Working in partnership with universities across the country, the Pearson Online Learning Services (POLS) team provides onlinelearning services including marketing, student recruitment, course content development, training and ongoing student support.About the job:Reporting to the Paid Media Manager, you will be working closely with other members of the marketing team, platforms team, research team and external agencies to drive new customer acquisition across our channels and online ecosystem.Specifically, you will have a track record of increasing sales qualified lead volumes via paid search and display channels and be able to support the paid media team to improve paid media performance across multiple higher education partnerships and educationprogrammes.The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of different paid search and display platforms including Google Ads, Google Discovery, Bing Ads, SA360 and DV360, and the ability to analyse data and report back on performance.Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Paid Media Specialist in developing and managing the implementation of our paid search and display strategy across a variety of paid channels through our external agency.
  • Collaborate with our external agency on paid search and display campaign planning, execution, optimisation and other objectives.
  • Work alongside our marketing team to ensure short- and long-term targets are met, and learnings are shared in order to support, and scale paid search and display marketing activities.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance data for each major paid search and display optimisation tactic, tracking performance against goals through suitable metrics and reporting back on both positive and negative changes.
  • Perform regular paid search and display channel audits and ensure that best practices are always followed.
  • Communicate with in-house and external teams to align paid search and display initiatives.
  • Monitor trends and industry competitors, identifying opportunities and risks, and making recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Provide support in processing payments, maintaining cost reports and managing invoices.
Other responsibilities:
  • Prepare for and attend weekly performance meetings with marketing managers and external agency.
  • Ensure that optimisation opportunities are identified, and appropriate actions are captured and implemented by responsible parties.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to support new programme launches
  • Collaborate with internal team, external agencies, internal and external platform teams to identify, prioritise, and resolve paid media issues.
  • Support with weekly and monthly analysis in preparation for stakeholder meetings and calls.
  • Ensure agency operations are aligned with campaign strategies and commercial goals
  • QA agency media plans and reports.
  • Feeding into new and existing paid media testing roadmaps and improvement plans.
About you:Essential
  • 2 - 3+ years paid search and display experience agency or in house
  • A strong knowledge of Google Ads, Google Discovery, Bing Ads, SA360 & DV360
  • Knowledge of tracking pixels, UTM parameters and basic code implementation
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyse and draw actionable insights from large data sets
  • Good knowledge of Excel, comfortable in analysing data sets, formulas and pivot tables
  • Experience working with CRM systems preferably Salesforce
  • Flexible & Agile working attitude with good problem-solving skills
  • Creative and strategic thinking to identify opportunities and challenge the status quo
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when employing individual processes and procedures
  • Ability to quickly build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Calm under pressure
