Job Description

Our Customer Service Gateline Assistants will provide a First-class service to our passengers whilst always ensuring their safety.Contract: ASAP - on-going temp role. Pay: £13.15Hours: Full time and Part time. Various shifts available start times from 5am, latest finish 1am.Must be availble to start onsite training from the 15th Jan 2024.They will Pro-actively seek to help customers through clear communication to pass through the station whilst effectively ensuring passengers have valid tickets to use the client express service, and that they are directed to the correct train/platform.You will often be the first person and the last person our customers meet on their journey, therefore your role as Gateline officer is vital in upholding the safety and service to all customers.Responsibilities:· Effectively manage the crowds for passenger using client express service, ensuring they have a valid ticket to travel and that they are in the correct queue dependant on their destination.

  • Effectively operate the gates ensuring the safety of all who pass through them.
  • Report any incidents and undertake measures to ensure the safety of the station
  • Supporting customers needing assistance
  • Ensuring the safety of the station environment
  • Providing a friendly and personable service
  • Undertake ticket checks and pass any irregularities to Revenue Protection.
Basic Requirements:· Good written and verbal English.
