THE GIG The UK Outbound Logistics Manager will own and be accountable for managing carrier partners in the UK, ensuring best in class last mile delivery services from our Distribution Centres to our customers in all channels;B2B and DTC (retail and ecommerce) as well as reverse logistics. Your expertise will be leveraged to develop and maintain relationships with our service providers, oversee carriers’ contracts and negotiations, establish standardised KPIs and drive best practicethroughout DM networks to deliver cost effective and on-time performance. There won’t be a dull moment. As our UK Outbound Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with last mile carriers, ensuring on time and in full deliveries to all channels.
  • Owning relationships with carriers with a keen focus on improving performance and overall customer experience
  • Supporting Global Outbound Logistics manager in leading negotiations for rates, service propositions, and contracts, conducting tenders as necessary with transportation providers in the UK

  • Extensive experience in multi-channel transportation and logistics management, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiations, showcasing your ability to secure favourable agreements
  • Strong working knowledge of Transportation and Warehouse Management Systems, enabling you to leverage technology for optimisation.
