CassonX are thrilled to be recruiting for a market leading Global Macro hedge fund based in St James’s. This fund has excellent growth plansdue to AUM growth and dramatic hiring in their front office, they are looking to strengthen their Operations function by hiring multiple people in their T0/T+1 Middle Office function. We can assure you that this company would look goodon anyone’s CV.To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone with strong technical knowledge of Rates & FX derivatives – both vanilla and more exotic (IRS, FRA, NDS, Swaptions, Caps & Floors, XCCY swaps, FX cash, options, NDF, FX swap, barriers,digis). You will have strong understanding of affirmation platforms and managing T0 risks and ensuring trades clear / match on T0 – experience with Markitwire, Traiana and TriResolve beneficial. Your knowledge will have been gained in a Hedge Fund or AssetManager displaying a strong understanding of fixed income prime brokers, fund administrators and their role within the fixed income workflow. They would look at those coming from the Prime Broker / Investment Banking background, but it is essential that youhave at least a 2:1 degree. The client is willing to buy out a forthcoming bonus if required.The role is to act in partnership with the Investment and Management teams to deliver quality post-execution services for the trades in particular, but continue to build a strong and robust operational control framework. As this is a global Macro fund, thesuccessful individual will be given a broad exposure to multiple asset classes and trading strategies.Lifecycle management across T0 and T+1 ProcessesTrade confirmation/recaps, collateral and stock/borrow lendingWorking with Prime Brokers and Administrators to make sure of timely settlement and trade queriesVarious Daily Reconciliations and InvestigationsProduct Static and Client / Counterparty Data maintenanceCorporate Actions / Dividends / CouponsSupporting new fund launches, or new trading strategy initiativesThis is a busy and growing team, a great opportunity for the incumbent to gain exposure to multiple asset classes and trading strategies, with one of the best performing Hedge Funds in London.
