Oracle DBA required to work with a Government department. This is an initial 6 month contract, paying £650 per day, inside IR35, remote/hybrid (London based offices)As an Oracle DBA you will be part of a team that supports and maintains a number of critical services use Oracle products. The team is pivotal in keeping services operational 24x7 365 by proactively and reactively responding to service challenges, buildingand maintaining strong relationships with other departments. The team has a continuous service improvement with an automation first approach that ensures the user is at the centre of any decision taken.Skill and Experience Required*Experience with managing Oracle Database 11g and 12c and 19c on Linux *Experience of managing Oracle Weblogic and Oracle HTTP Server *Experience working with large databases *Experience of Oracle Automatic Storage Management*Experience working with Backup and Recovery (RMAN, Datapump, Flashback database) *Experience of managing Oracle Data Guard *Experience of performance tuning large databases *Experience in Database programming languages such as PL/SQL, SQL *Experience of installations, upgrades and patching *Experience of configuration / automation through code / continuous integration tools *Experience of working in a fast paced, agile environment *Experience of version control *Experience of managing infrastructure for multiple environments through codePlease apply should you meet the above criteriaBadenoch + Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
