Job Description

Our client is a young yet hugely successful business who is challenging the market leaders within the international payment solution sector. Based in the financial world, our clients senior members have countless years of experience within the industryto draw upon and are now developing this exciting new business as Foreign Exchange (FX) specialists.They are now seeking a confident graduate, who wants to enter the world of international finance and join the team in their Central London offices as an Operations/SettlementsExecutive.The Role:The successful candidate for this role will be a crucial cog in the smooth running of the day to day activities of a busy and hugely successful FX Brokerage. This is a hugely varied role where candidates can expect the role to include but activities suchas liaising with corporate and private clients, ensuring timing settlements of FX trades.Key Responsibilities: Candidates can expect the role to include but not be limited to:

  • Preparing instructions and monitoring cash transfers for transaction accounts
  • Accurate and timely execution and delivery of client and bank instructions with strict cut-offs
  • Performing daily internal and external reconciliation
  • Investigation and resolution of failed/non-receipt incoming and out-going FX payments for transaction accounts and clients
  • Liaise with Banks/Custodians on a day to day basis ensuring all trades/payments are completed and/or settled in a timely manner
  • Resolving queries on a timely basis received from brokers/clients
  • Ensuring all trades are booked and matched in appropriate systems and captured timely and accurately
  • Generating and sending of trade confirmations to counterparties
  • Client reporting including trade confirmations, statement of holdings and monthly statements
So What Are We Looking For
  • Second class honours from university (relevant degree preferred but not a pre-requisite)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fantastic attention to detail with the ability to keep many plates spinning at once
  • 2-5 Years experience in a similar environment
  • Confidence to both work autonomously and within a friendly and collaborative team
