Job Description

Prestigious international banking client is seeking operational expert to take responsibility for their Collateral, Control and Investigations team. Managing a team of 4, you will be responsible for Reconciliations/ Investigations / Cash & Collateral Managementand some Treasury transaction reporting. Some project experience will be useful as well as well as experience of working within a small Operations set up and will have generalist experience across areas including (payments, settlements, loans admin, fixeddeposits).

  • Reporting to the Headof Financethe roleholderwill be responsibleformanaging and overseeing the onshore bank Operations team which includes Reconciliations, Investigations, Post Trade Reporting and Collateral management ("control team"), the PaymentsTeam,and then primary point of contact for outsourced Operational Processes.
  • Working with the Head of Finance / Ops and the COO to co-ordinate, unify and centralise Bank operations in an efficient, effective and compliant manner so that customer service will be optimised to meet business strategy and plans. You will have ownershipof the Banks Payments Operations platform to enable the Bank to maintain and access Euro clearing through the Bundesbank. To have ownership of the Payments Reconciliations system, ensuring NOSTRO provides accurate reporting of external funds.
  • To ensure existence of a robust control framework and minimise risk incidents including through clearly documented policies, procedures and practices.
