Job Description

An opportunity to join a well known insurance Broker operating withing the Lloyds of London market.Reporting to the Office Manager, the Operations Manager will help maintain the Operational Resilience and the compliance to Operational Resilienceas defined by the FCA.Additionally, the Operations Manager should provide additional support to Business Continuity planning and testing.Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain awareness of OR legislation
  • Identify potential divergences between the companys OR Policy and OR legislation to ensure alignment
  • Manage the companys library of OR related documents, including policy, procedures, self-assessments, and governance
  • Conduct periodic reviews of OR related documents and ensures they are up to date
  • Communicate changes to OR related documents to relevant parties for training and awareness
  • Review actual incidents to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Follow escalation procedures to review and approve appropriate mitigationsand coordinates mitigating actions
  • Coordinates lessons learned exercises
Required Skills:
  • Prior experience in a regulated financial services environment, with knowledge of Lloyds, London, and International insurance market being ideal but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability in project management
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional report writing and presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Facilitation skills such as leading meetings and workshops
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with mainstream project management tools such as MS Project.
