Job Description

Master and Software Engineers with the following key requirements:

  • Support, maintain and enhance the applications in the suite, including a High Performance Computing grid, and a mix of Windows on premise and Azure cloud applications.
  • Support application teams with administration of Azure cloud environments
  • Implement changes to CI/CD pipelines e.g. migration to Azure DevOps from TeamCity
  • Plan and carry out Security requirements such as implementing Multi-Factor Authentication, network segmentation, automated certificate management
  • Assist the Tech Lead in carrying out security assessments of applications – in-house and vendor applications.
  • Support applications teams in documenting network security design, carrying out threat modelling and assisting with penetration testing
  • Track and implement measures to resolve vulnerabilities within the system components
  • Administer Security findings and action plans
  • Monitor support mailboxes and responding to issues from users and via automated alerts
  • Occasionally provide onsite and offsite (remote) support, public holiday and weekend work.
This is an inside IR35 contract role paying around £600-£650 per day. Initially 6 months duration but you can expect multiple durations given the book of work.
