Job Description

Please note: this role requires the successful applicant to travel and work abroad for approximately 35 weeks of the year in line with F1 calendar and must be taken into consideration before applying. One of our oldest clients has a fantastic role for a Back of House and Operations Coordinator to join their Formula 1 Catering team. This is such a great opportunity to join not only a well-known and established catering company, which specialises in luxury events and bespoke catering, but also to work with a really exciting F1 team and get to travel the world! Seeing so many countries in one year is an absolute dream for some people, and you could make this your job.The role is to coordinate the back of house operations on the F1 trackside hospitality and catering team. In the fast paced, yet envigorating environment, the successful candidate has to be hard working, switched on, organised and focused on the role in hand. You should also be self-motivated, driven, collaborative with your team and have an excellent eye for detail and sense of humour.The role:

  • Planning ordering schedules to meet loading deadline for overseas and European equipment and goods.
  • Lead on loading multiple freights with catering equipment for each overseas event/race in accordance with routings.
  • Complete custom documents in accordance with event/race and country specific content.
  • Lead on loading fridge truck with F&B for European event/race.
  • Lead on set up and breakdown of hospitality areas with heavy equipment and furniture.
  • Maintain multiple equipment inventories; stock levels, servicing and testing.
  • Order and procure F&B for each event/race to meet deadlines in the UK and abroad during the race week.
  • Maintain F&B inventories, reporting on spend and consumption pre and post event/race.
  • Responsible for driving rental vehicles and operating forklifts on site.
  • Manage an organised back of house area.
  • Working collaboratively with the all stakeholders.

  • Drive and have a clean driving licence
  • Live and breathe events and have experience in the operation of events, catering or restaurant
