Job Description

OpportunityRedimeer are recruiting for an Operations Analyst to join an Asset Management firm based in the West End of London. The Operations Analyst will be expected to support throughout the trade life cycle across multiple trading strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for an Operations Analyst to join a forward thinking organisation allowing this role to be sufficiently flexible to develop and adapt to the core skills of the candidate.Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the trade life cycle across the full spectrum of products of cash, equities and CFD’s.
  • Daily transaction, cash and position reconciliations for all products across providers.
  • Writing, maintaining and operating Excel based (VBA) applications for business processes including:
  • Fund NAV production incorporating trade processing, risk management and shadow NAV calculation o Performance, structure and risk reporting
  • Requirement for cross training on equities when covering other team members.
  • Settlements, Cash & Margin Management.
  • Issue resolution amongst fund administrators, counterparties & prime brokers.
  • NAV production & Valuations.
  • P&L Analysis.
  • Internal operational reporting.
  • Project work involving the improvement of systems and automation of reconciliations.
  • Assisting with regulatory reporting production.
    • Key Skills and Attributes
  • Back office/fund administration experience
  • Accounting for various types of entities including Master-Feeder Structures
  • Expertise in various investment instruments including equities, CFDs, options, futures
  • Advanced visual basic programming skills, additional programming languages are desirable

  • Up to £75k per annum dependent on experience.
