Are you a leader in Operational Risk Management and seeking your next career step We are looking for an Operational Risk Director to oversee Macquaries Financial and Risk Management Groups, providing thought leadership, practical advice and guidanceon operational risk management whilst reviewing and approving new business initiatives. You will assess the business risk profile and key processes and, where appropriate, act as a catalyst for change. The role will give you the opportunity to ensure thatrisk and control self-assessments reflect the risk profile of the businesses, are current and comprehensive whilst analysing incidents across the business. You bring strong experience in Operational Risk, Internal or External Audit gained ideally within aninternational financial institution or professional services firm and a tertiary degree in Finance or related area. Relevant postgraduate degrees or professional qualifications (CA, CPA) would be desirable. You will be an analytical and lateral thinker withproblem solving, consulting skills and an ability to grasp abstract concepts and complex situations. In addition, you will feel comfortable interpreting and balancing commercial issues within the risk framework whilst being able to demonstrate knowledge ofthe regulatory environment in which Macquarie operates.
