Our client is a London office of one of leading Investment Bank in Asia. Over the years, the London office has been expanding rapidly diversifying its business from cash equity sales business to Investment Banking business, and now its hiring an OperationManager in Investment Banking.[Key Responsibilities](1) Supporting a team and acting as an escalation point for all post trading activities for Securities (Equities and Fixed Income) and Derivatives e.g. Settlement, Confirmation, Fail Trade Management, Cash Management and Reconciliations.(2) Working with internal stake holders like Sales, Front office, Risk and Compliance to ensure that business is well supported from an operational, audit and regulatory perspective with key focus on efficiency and control.(3) Challenging existing procedures and striving for continuous improvement by proactively suggesting process enhancements, participating in the root cause analysis by maintaining a robust risk and control framework around our operational processes henceeliminating recurring incidents and increasing efficiency.(4) Responsible with operations team deliverables and management, ensuring team carries BAU in a controlled and efficient way in line with company procedures.(5) Ensuring all regulatory reports are completed and controls are implemented for clear visibility for audit and compliance.(6) Provide continuous support for the team members by identifying training requirements, filling knowledge gap and arranging cross training for business continuity.(7) Reviewing of the daily client money and asset calculations in addition to operating daily preventative and detective controls to eliminate CASS risk.(8) Provide support to compliance on CASS audit[Requirements](1) Minimum 5 years experience in relevant roles(2) Hands-on experience with accounting/banking software(3) Experience in Euroclear Settlements(4) Previous exposure to Bank back office Operations(5) Excellent attention to detail and accuracy(6) Advanced MS Excel skills(7) Fixed Income / Equities Settlement Experience(8) The ability to operate with urgency and prioritise work accordingly(9) BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree(10) Additional relevant financial & accounting qualification is a plus[Working conditions](1) Location: City of London (Bank area)(2) Annual basic salary: 45~50K (negotiable depending on experience)(3) Bonus, pension, life assurance, medical insurance, travel expense, etc.[Before you apply](1) If youre currently on any visa permitting full-time work in UK, please indicate your visa status in your CV and when it expires.(2) Please send your CV in a MS Word format(3) ONLY right candidates will be contacted, and if your application is successful, well contact you within 5 working days.
