Job Description

Prospero are currently searching for an AV support technician who is suitable for a permanent job based in Canary Wharf- does this interest to youKey Details

The role involves providing support and management of fully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms and large complex environments such as auditoriums. The technician interfaces daily with customer and acts as an extension of their team. His/her responsibilitiesgenerally include the operation and functional testing of all AV and integrated conference room components/equipment. The Technician works in cooperation with the customers management team in support of their equipment and user community.Our client prioritises the needs of the candidate, in accordance with project and support roles.Required Skills:
  • Possess excellent communication skills and understand AV systems and technology.
  • Able to perform routine testing and general operation for Video conferencing systems, projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, LCD/Plasma Displays and other AV equipment.
  • Experience of bridging setting up and managing Web Ex meetings
  • Ability to perform first line AV related testing, troubleshooting, and first fix for AV equipment
  • Must have full understanding of how to operate video equipment as needed emphasising on Cisco endpoints, BiAMP, and Creston control systems
  • Working knowledge of Crestron Toolbox.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and teach new technologies
  • Be organised and flexible with the ability to approach different types of tasks during the working day
  • Excellent customer service skills with previous experience of dealing with ALL level executives advantageous with demonstrable previous experience
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure is essential
  • Capable of good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be able to work to the highest quality standards with attention to detail ensuring that we complete our work thoroughly, never walking away from a problem.
