Job Description

Online Teaching Assistant - MindFeedrBPS World are pleased to announce their resourcing partnership with MindFeedr, a new, highly innovative online learning platform for children and parents alike.As a result of this partnership, we are now looking to speak with Teaching Assistants with experience supporting and facilitating learning within core subjects including; English, Maths, Science, History, Geography and Modern Languages at KS1 & KS2 levels. The Mindfeedr platform has been designed to provide parents and children with individual support through 1 hour teaching sessions booked and scheduled in advance.What we are looking for

  • Minimum Level 2 certified Teaching Assistants to assist children to the age of 10.
  • Have a current DBS / Enhanced DBS which is less than two years old.
  • Must have good internet connectivity as support will only be delivered on-line.
    • Responsibilities and duties can include:
  • Delivering predetermined learning activities as devised by the students regular teachers on a one-to-one basis.
  • Ensuring that any pupils they support can engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity.
  • Managing challenging behaviour.
  • Guiding and monitoring a student’s progress.

  • A strong regard for student’s well-being, emotional and physical
  • A positive approach to working with children, and an ability to inspire and motivate them
  • An understanding of how to build rapport and positive relationships with studentsspecifically within an on-line learning environment
    • We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment. Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment background checks will either be undertaken or validated before any appointment is confirmed. An appointment is subject to confirmation that either an existing DBS or Enhanced DBS is current. Additional checks may also be required. Required skills
