OneSumX Business Analyst/Tester

Job Description

A large international Bank based in London.DescriptionOneSumX Business Analyst/Tester Purpose:

• Supports the Regulatory Change Manager by defining the data and mapping requirements for new products and business and for internal JIRA fixes
• Performs testing of JIRA fixes, new products and new regulatory templates in OneSumX UAT
• Assists with regression testing of OneSumX regulatory software upgrades
• Assists with Regulatory Reporting automation projects using OneSumX
• Provides support to the Regulatory Reporting BAU team on production and allocation issues associated with the OneSumX Regulatory Reporting software covering COREP, Liquidity, FINREP and BOE reporting

Responsibilities:Provides support to JIRA management and UAT testing as follows:

• Performs testing of JIRA and ETL fixes in OneSumX UAT
• Defines the mapping and data requirements for new products, new business and for other new requirements and enhancements
• Performs proof of concept testing on new products and business in OneSumX UAT to ensure that they are correctly reported in the Regulatory templates
• Performs testing of new Regulatory templates and the data allocations in UAT
• Assists with projects and the automation of regulatory templates using OneSumX
• Liaises with the global IT team on OneSumX and JIRA related issues
• Participates in the monthly JIRA review meeting and provides input on the progress and prioritisation of JIRAs

Provides support to the Regulatory Reporting BAU team with the OneSumX Production Regulatory software as follows:

• Provides support with OneSumX production issues and assists with queries on OneSumX processes and functionality including validation errors, L2 data, scripts, work collections, reports and the allocation of data
• Helps to identify issues within SumX and is the go-to person for the resolution of issues
• Performs analysis and investigations of OneSumX input and output data when required
• Raises JIRA tickets and assists with defining the business requirements for ETL enhancements to resolve OneSumX Production allocation issues
• Performs testing of JIRA fixes in OneSumX UAT prior to fixes being promoted to production
• Participates in the quarterly regression testing of reporting software upgrades by reviewing the template compare reports, drilling into the OneSumX data to investigate differences between UAT and Production and by testing the XLSTOORA functionality
• Helps with the generation of excel manual upload files into SumX using the XLSTOORA tool

Other tasks:

• Raises Sales Force tickets with the vendor Wolters Kluwer when Reg Reporting software issues are identified and monitors progress
• Performs testing of Sales Force tickets once fixes are delivered by the vendor and promoted to OneSumX UAT
• Assists with OneSumX UAT testing for the annual Gloss upgrade test trade cycles
• Reviews software upgrade release notes issued by Wolters Kluwer and informs the Regulatory Change Manager and the Reg Reporting team of key changes
• Assists with any other work efforts assigned by management

ProfileOneSumX Business Analyst/Tester Experience:

• The candidate should have good knowledge of OneSumX Regulatory Reporting software and Reg Reporting data requirements wihin Financial Services.
• Good knowledge of COREP and Liquidity templates is preferred
• Strong experience in a Business Analyst and Tester capacity.

Job OfferUp to £600 per day on a PAYE basis.
