Job Description

CFS Management Ltd, fast growing investment manager, is currently looking for a Russian speaking Onboarding Assistant to join its compliance division.The right candidate will join the existing client Onboarding Team and report to the Head of Compliance and MLRO. The role will be to perform AML / KYC verification checks on all potential clients and related parties, as well as coordinate all legal documentation and liaison with applicants and clients alike.CFS offers financial services to retail, professional and institutional clients with offices globally. You will be onboarding clients to our regulated entity working in a small and very friendly team.Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for clients on new business onboarding requests;
  • Efficiently communicate with the respective client departments to gather all necessary information;
  • Performing AML/KYC due diligence client reviews on individual and corporate clients;
  • Conducting client application review and appropriateness assessments;
  • Undertake KYC due diligence reviews in a timely manner, as per CFS policies;
  • Classifying clients from a risk and regulatory perspective;
  • Analysing AML risks associated with the client. Potential risks and operational issues should be identified and escalated as appropriate;
  • Coordinating with Sales / Introducers team to understand client structure and agree requirements;
  • Carrying out ongoing monitoring of customer due diligence measures and clients business relationships;
  • Maintaining archives and keeping client records up to date;
  • Appropriate and confidential handling / sharing of sensitive client data;
  • Identifying red flag’ situations and escalate in line with CFS policies and procedures;
  • Responding to ad hoc client, management, operations and front office queries;
  • What we are looking for:
  • Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing Russian and English
  • Should have a Batchelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Experience of working in financial services is preferable but not essential
  • Ability to use good judgment in stressful situation
  • Excellent analysing and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with office suite programmes such as Microsoft Excel
  • Self-starter and independent (but of course not afraid to ask questions!)
  • Able to work collaboratively across all functions
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential
