Job Description

My client a global company is looking for an Office Manager for a new opening in central London. The ideal candidate may have worked in a similar role and been involved with an office Move / new office opening. This role will be remote to start but 100 % office based once safe to do so and comes with a salary of up to £ 45,000. Please note within this position the ideal candidate will also manage day to day reception duties.Duties may include :

  • Office management
  • Liaising and maintaining relationship with office services providers ( eg cleaning, maintenance, H&S, copier, coffee and water providers, couriers etc)
  • Reviewing and reporting on providers operational and cost performance and suggesting improvements
  • Support in arranging office events in line with wellbeing initiatives across the group or external team building events
  • Responsibility for all health and safety legal requirements across office together with the 3rd party supplier (e.g. emergency and evacuation trainingsproperly done, first aiders/ fire marshals properly trained, first aid kits in place and properly stocked, fire extinguishers properly checkedetc)
  • Day to day running of the Reception:
  • Answering emails, phone
  • Receiving and distributing post
  • Organizing couriers, coordinate inbound/outbound shipments
  • Receiving incoming invoices and distributing them accordingly for payment
  • Welcoming visitors and guests while providing all the necessary information and support
  • Ensuring meeting rooms, breakout areas are always clean, tidy and ready to be used
  • Managing access cards, keeping good and up to date records
