Job Description

Role: Office CleanerSalary: £11.05 an hourShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am-2pmJob Status: Permanent/Full-TimeLocation: Central LondonVacancy Reference: VR/04709Role Description:Our client, a well-established company within the industry, is looking for an experienced Office Cleaner to join their team, responsible for high-end corporate offices in London. As Office Cleaner, you will be expected to clean to the highest standards, whilemaintaining good working relationships with both colleagues and clients. The ideal Office Cleaner will have experience in a similar environment, with the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for floor care, performing various surface tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and spot-cleaning carpets of all office areas
  • Responsible for the maintenance of tables, chairs and counters, carrying out tasks such as dusting, spraying and cleaning
  • Responsible for removing waste in office areas
  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitising of toilets daily
  • Responsible for cleaning of windows in all areas of the office
  • Dust, disinfect and polish surfaces and furniture as needed
  • May be required to shop for cleaning supplies and stock as needed
  • Report repairs and replacements encountered when executing daily tasks
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals and supplies, and methods used in office cleaning at least
  • Vital to have an understanding of Health and Safety
  • Can operate automatic floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers and wet and dry vacuums
  • Excellent language skills both written and verbal
  • Good communication skills to effectively follow written or verbal instructions
  • Interpersonal skills - able to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients alike
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised with the ability to follow a schedule and adapt to changing schedules or routines
  • Must be able to reach, stretch, bend and walk during daily routine, and stand for a long duration with ease
