Job Description

A family-run Day Nursery that is dedicated to the holistic development of children is looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join the team in Wimbledon. The Nursery has flourished in recent years, earning an Ofsted Good rating in2022, and priding themselves on fostering a family-like atmosphere, not only with the children but also among valued employees.As Nursery Room Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children.
  • Collaborating with the team to implement the daily routine and ensure a supportive environment.
  • Liaising with parents and caregivers to share information about their childs development.
  • Delivering engaging play opportunities and activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Fostering a caring and stimulating environment that caters to individual developmental needs.
  • Supporting staff development, contributing to a knowledgeable and cohesive team.
  • Being flexible and willing to assist in various tasks within the Nursery, ensuring a seamless operation.
  • Ensuring the Nursery consistently meets the Early Years Foundation Stage standards.
We’re looking for a Nursery Room Leader with the following:
  • Level 3 childcare practitioner qualification
  • First Aid certification
  • DBS clearance
