EXCITING NEW OPPORTUNITY IN GYNAECOLOGY COLPOSCOPY UNIT Newham University Hospital Barts Health NHS Trust We are looking for a dynamic, extremely motivated, resourceful individual to join our colposcopy team.If you are trained as a Nurse Colposcopist, you can join as a Band 7 and we can support you to achieve your Independent Colposcopy Competency and have sound knowledge of the National Cervical Screening Programme and training in undertaking Cytology in line with NHSCCP guideline.If you are interested in training to become a certified nurse Colposcopist according to British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology/RCOG guideline, we will train you in house. When you have successfully completed your training, you will manage your own caseload of patients and participate in the management of the service with the Lead Nurse Colposcopist.You are invited to apply if you are a registered general nurse with at least two years’ experience in gynaecology, with interest in Colposcopy.Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and be flexible to the demands of the service.
