Here at Futures, we are thrilled to be supporting an exciting manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a new NPI Engineer with immediate effect to develop their existing range of products but also bring new products to the market in line with advancing technology. Salary - £40,000-£50,000 Depending on experienceLocation London Role and Responsibility Working closely with Production, Design and Engineering teams and communicate well through the process of Concept to launchReview and Improve New Product Development process to manage projects from concept to development to launch.Building a relationship with the off site design team to ensure both departments are working to the same goal. Ensure that procedures are developed to ensure that the production area is running efficientlyProviding guidance and training to team members in order to share knowledge and expertise.Monitoring quality issues and trends; finding the root cause and establishing effective and sustainable solutions.Being responsible for ensuring all new products can be produced in the correct time frame at the right cost. Experience the client is looking forExperience of introducing new products and handling everything in between concept & launch. Great communicator and somebody who has the ability to liaise with people at all levels. Proven knowledge of manufacturing best practice including Engineering Change Management, DFMEA, PFMEA, lean, six sigma, 5S and FMEA (qualifications desirable)A creative mind-set with the ability to challenge the norm; has the ability to make things betterA focus on the customer experience with the ability to handle challenging situations and difficult conversations whilst maintaining a diplomatic approach.
