* Node.js Developer* £70,000 - £90,000 DOE.* London/Remote (1-2 office days per month)Are you a Node.js Developer interested in building technology used by millions of customers worldwide A globally recognised financial services business in London are looking for a Node.js Developer to join their exceptional technology function. You will bejoining as part of their 5-year strategy to completely modernise the products and technology stack, this will be a greenfield division within the business as they in-source their software engineering capabilities. The Node.js Developer will have the following attributes:* 3+ years experience working with Node.js commercially.* Strong experience with AWS cloud native development and AWS tools.* Experience working in a TDD or BDD environment.* A strong knowledge of API design, development and integration.* Knowledge of modern DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Git, etc.* Knowledge of AWS serverless and Lambda functions is desirable.* An understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform is highly desirable.* An understanding of alternative Front End JavaScript languages such as Angular, Vue or React is desirable, though not essential.You will report directly to the Head of Application Architecture who is genuinely passionate about investing in and up-skilling their team. They are utilising an extremely modern technology stack, using CI/CD tools in a cloud-first environment. The engineeringand product functions operate in an agile environment, experience working in a SCRUM/Kanban environment is therefore desirable.As you will teams work extremely collaboratively with the product and senior leadership team, the preference is for the successful Node.js Developer to work from their London office 1-2 days a week, though candidates who wish to work from the office once/twicea month will also be considered.
