Job Description

Night SupervisorSupported Housing32k9pm6am (Monday to Sunday) offering flexible days full-time.We have a super opportunity for someone as we are looking for a NightSupervisor to join our Support Team at Dinardo Care & Supports Ltd.Aims & Objectives:As a Night Supervisor the main objective of your role would be to enhance the safety and security of residents across our portfolio of supported housing units across South- East London and take the lead in dealing with any emergency situations that may ariseout of hours. Our locations cover Lewisham, Catford, Crystal Palace, Sydenham and Peckham so are all based within relatively easy reach of one another.You would be responsible for ensuring that all sites are visited regularly for safety checks and also that any emergencies or issues identified are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. You would also be an addition to the Support Team rota ifand when required at night.You will need to be a drivera pool vehicle will be provided for your use while at work.Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Night Supervisor:

  • To visit sites during the night to undertake safety and well-being checks on our residents and security of the site in general.
  • Check in with other night staff team members who are on duty.
  • To record and report detail of inspections undertaken.
  • Deal with Local Authorities, NHS, police, and senior members of the team in a confident and professional manner.
  • Escalate issues where required.
  • To support residents health and well-being
  • You will provide practical and emotional support as necessary and appropriate.
  • To ensure that all residents are treated with equal respect, kindness and courtesy at all times and their dignity is maintained.
  • Conducting audits and writing accurate reports.
  • Support team members on night duty.
  • Be fully conversant with all aspects of Health and Safety with particular reference to fire precautions and fire drills
  • Be proficient in first aid
About you:
  • DriverFull driving licence.
  • An experienced Support Worker or Team Leader in a supported housing or comparable setting
  • Able to demonstrate possession of suitable relevant qualifications and experience
  • Be an effective communicatorverbal and written
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Demonstrate patience and empathy and respect for our residents at all times
