Job Description

NHS PMO Manager needed for a cross borough transformation In NE London involving primary careClient DetailsThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team aimed at developing our health and social care workforce in North Central London. We manage a budget of over £4.3m pa and over 2021-22 have been shortlisted for a number of national awards includingHSJ and Nursing Times.Training Hubs receive core funding from Health Education England, but we also have extra commissions from NHS England & Improvement and Local Authorities. The North Central Londonn (NCL) Training Hub is not a legal entity but a group or network of multidisciplinaryprimary care teams, community and social care providers, aiming to enhance training, education and workforce development. Training Hubs have developed effective, innovative educational and workforce initiatives for primary, community and social care sincetheir inception as CEPNs 6 years ago. This ethos carries forward into the new Training Hub plans, which as well as continuing their operation at borough level, connect across an ICS footprint, and nationally through HEE national training hubs. The aim in NorthCentral London is to continue this CEPN ethos, which develops seamlessly into the training hub core offer as detailed in the HEE training hub operating framework.Description

  • Provide strategic leadership for the NCL Training Hub along the NCL Clinical Lead & Managerial Lead
  • Run the Training Hub on a day-to-day basis, having overall responsibility for the Training Hub budget and staff employed by the Training Hub
  • Provide the bridge between local borough Training Hubs and the NCL Training Hub
  • Develop a high-level programme plan incorporating all current and planned Training Hub programmes and embed this into the operational processes of the Training Hub
  • Drive forward all Training Hub programmes and hold all programme and project managers to account through clear programme management processes
  • Horizon scan for new funding opportunities and manage the bid writing process for any opportunities
  • Support and take forward the strategic direction set by the Joint Operational Group and the COO
