Job Description

The New & Strategic Channels team is tasked with identifying opportunities for SVB to engage new channel partners and founder communities, including accelerators, angel investors, angel syndicates, venture studios, and other ecosystem partners. The teamis specifically focused on working with mission-aligned partners seeking to make an impact with underrepresented founders and investors.The primary responsibility of the Programme Manager will be overseeing the successful development and execution of channel partner events and founder-related programming activities for our community of investors and founders. Example events include intimatedinners, networking happy hours, virtual workshops, virtual demo days and office hours with subject matter experts across various topics (financial modeling, marketing, fundraising, etc.)The Programme Manager will also support the teams goal to scale access to capital, information and networks by contributing to and maintaining an active database of ecosystem partners, active investors, and accelerators and disseminating market insights, dealflow and relevant resources to our partners, prospects and clients.The manager will support the Head of New & Strategic Channels to develop SVBs own signature founder and funder programs. This will include researching the market, project planning and managing internal and external working groups and partners to execute.While the Programme Manager will primarily focus on end-to-end management of programming unique to the New & Strategic Channels team, the role is highly collaborative and will also require internal collaboration with other Early Stage Banking in US and EMEA,Marketing and Business Development teams.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end programme and project management for New & Strategic Channels including managing working groups to deliver objectives with internal and external partners, overseeing coordination of founder success programming
  • Maintain channel partner database and events/programming calendars to provide internal visibility into the teams in-market activities and cross-bank client engagement opportunities
  • Develop content and marketing assets (e.g. workshop presentations, blog posts, social posts) to raise awareness for SVB brand and engage our community of investors and founders. managing all pre/post-event communications and tracking KPIs and success metrics
  • Build and pioneer a focused approach to channel management and success measurement, inclusive of sales funnel tracking, CRM management, market share tracking and other ad hoc analytics as needed
  • Contribute to the teams growth goals by developing innovative ideas for partner activations, founder programming and community engagement
  • Support Managing Director, New & Strategic Channels, and team in building new products and SVB led initiatives to support founders
Experience Required
  • Prior experience working in the early-stage startup ecosystem and/or financial services
  • Experience in product management, programme management, partnerships managing role in the innovation economy highly preferred
  • Highly organized and adept in managing content, content marketing, data analysis, presentations via Excel, Airtable or Notion
